BELIEVE IN WHAT YOU PRAY FOR
I know what it’s like to pray from a place of desperation, crying out to God through tears, wondering if He even hears me. I’ve been there—praying for healing while feeling broken, asking for restoration when everything seemed lost, and pleading for peace while my heart was in turmoil. But I learned something powerful: God is faithful, and He answers.
Why Pray?
- Because God Commands It – Prayer isn’t just a suggestion; it’s how we connect with Him (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18).
- Because It Draws Us Closer to Him – Every prayer, even the ones whispered through pain, deepens our faith (Jeremiah 29:12).
- Because It Releases His Power – I’ve seen firsthand how prayer can change lives, restore hearts, and open doors that no man can shut (James 5:16).
How to Pray with Faith:
- Pray with Belief – I had to learn to trust, even when I didn’t see results right away. Jesus said, “Whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours” (Mark 11:24). Faith must come first.
- Pray in Alignment with God’s Will – I used to pray for what I thought I needed, but real breakthroughs came when I surrendered to His plan (1 John 5:14-15).
- Pray with Persistence – I kept praying even when it felt like nothing was changing. God is never late (Luke 18:1).
- Pray with Thanksgiving – I learned to praise Him before I saw the answer, because His faithfulness never fails (Philippians 4:6-7).
- Pray in Jesus’ Name – There is power in His name. Every time I prayed through Him, I saw chains break (John 14:13-14).
I stand here today because I chose to believe in what I prayed for—even when it hurt, even when it seemed impossible. And you? God hears you. Keep praying. Keep believing. Your breakthrough is coming.
