Listen, I know what it’s like to carry anger so deep inside that it feels like it owns you. It’s heavy, isn’t it? You think you’re justified in holding onto it, you tell yourself you have every right to be mad, and maybe you do. But let me tell you something—anger is a thief. It’s robbing you of your peace, your joy, and your ability to truly move forward.
I’m not talking about a moment of frustration—I’m talking about that anger you carry with you, that keeps you awake at night. It sits in your chest, makes your heart race, and turns your thoughts dark. Anger chains you to the very thing you want freedom from. It keeps you trapped in the pain, and the longer you hold onto it, the more power it has over you.
Here’s the hard truth: anger will destroy you if you don’t let it go. It eats away at your soul, it poisons your relationships, and worst of all—it blocks you from experiencing the peace God has promised you. The enemy loves to keep you angry, because as long as you’re holding onto it, you’re not living in the freedom Christ died to give you.
Anger gives the enemy a foothold. He whispers lies into your ear, tells you that letting go means giving up, that holding onto it somehow gives you control. But let me tell you something: anger doesn’t give you control—it controls you. It controls your thoughts, your words, and your reactions. It controls how you see yourself and how you see others. It keeps you from being free.
Letting go of anger isn’t easy, I know that. But here’s where you start:
When you release the anger, you open the door to God’s healing, to real joy, and to a new level of freedom. You’ll stop reliving the hurt, and instead, you’ll start walking in the peace that comes from God alone. You deserve that peace. You were not made to live in chains of anger.
I’m not saying you’ll never feel anger again. Anger is a human emotion, but it should never control you. You have the power, through Christ, to rise above it. To feel it, acknowledge it, and then release it before it takes root in your heart.
It’s time, sister. It’s time to let go of what’s been holding you down. You deserve peace. You deserve to be free. And God is right here, ready to carry the weight you’ve been holding onto for far too long. Release it to Him and step into the life of freedom and peace He has for you. You’re stronger than you think, and His strength will carry you the rest of the way.
Love,
Galina💜
